Auction

Each year, the Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School auction is the largest fundraiser - and the biggest party - at our school.

Hosted on our school campus, the auction is a chance for families, parishioners, and the community to support the school's greatest needs. Auction proceeds fund specific Fund-a-Need items or projects critical to advancing the mission of the school, and help ensure that all families desiring a high-quality Catholic education are able to attend Our Lady of the Lake, regardless of the ability to pay. Each school family is responsible for donating or procuring new items or services worth $250 or donating $250 to the auction.

2018-2019 Auction Success

The 2019 auction theme, “Masquerade,” transported us to a different time and era, one of royalty and mystery, and delight in the unexpected. Behind the masks we wore, we knew who we are and what our community is about, and there was no disguising the reasons why we were there. Everyone made a difference for our school and shouted from the rooftops (and through masks) their support for our students. Thank you to all the generous supporters of this year's auction 2019.

We have such a giving community! We had record attendance filled with laughter and fun, all in support of our school.

  • Fund-A-Need Results: We are thrilled to report that the Fund-a-Need portion of the auction to support our Spanish program and tuition assistance reached more than $70,000! An additional $3,500 was raised to upgrade the teacher and staff lounge so that the quality of that important space matches the high quality of teaching. Donations for these areas are still being accepted at www.ollauction.org.
  • Corporate Matching Gifts: Just a reminder that if you gave a gift eligible for a corporate match at the auction, please reach out to your employer and let us know by emailing ccasey@ollseattle.org.

We are so grateful for everyone's contributions to such a successful night, not only in financial support, but through the incredible amount of volunteer hours by a dedicated team of school families, teachers/staff, parishioners, and alumni to make such a special evening possible.

A special shout-out to our auction co-chairs, Lisa Gilbert and Kate Monahan, and their team of volunteers for their amazing vision for the auction and commitment to our children's education.
