This year, we far surpassed our goal and raised an astounding $60,650 for Our Lady of the Lake! Much appreciation for the Fun Run team who made it happen, our students and teachers for all the positive (and fun!) competition, and for the generosity of all our donors, from parents and grandparents to alumni and parishioners. Thank you! Funds from this year go toward our general operating budget, purchasing our family t-shirts for grades PK - 8, and enhancing our Music and Art programs so that we can continue advancing the OLL mission.
Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School Home
Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School is a welcoming and inclusive community committed to a tradition of excellence by Nurturing Hearts, Inspiring Minds and Igniting Spirits.
The annual Blessing of the Doors with Pastor Fr. Tim Clark and Principal Daniel Mullen to start our school year is not live this year in consideration of health and safety protocols. It will be shown via video at this link starting at 8:45am on Tuesday, September 7, and available any time after for viewing by all students and the OLL community. (Thanks to Jennifer Kush for video production.)
As part of the process for state childcare licensing, we have completed an extensive renovation to upgrade the upper lot playground to the latest safety/health requirements. Watch the video at the link above to see the process from start to finish. Thank you to the OLL community for support of our youngest Lakers!
Beginning in the 2021-2022 school year, Mrs. Stephanie Hawk has been named the new Vice Principal at OLL. She succeeds esteemed educator Mrs. Bonnie Meyer, who will focus her efforts on helping all students reach their academic potential in her role as Director of Student Learning Support at OLL. "We are blessed with tremendous leadership talent and dedication to Catholic education at OLL amongst our faculty/staff," said Mr. Daniel Mullen, Principal. "Bonnie Meyer has been an exceptional leader over her tenure as Vice Principal and we are grateful for all her many contributions to ensuring a faith-filled, positive culture of learning at OLL - and to have such an expert in the field leading our learning support efforts is a victory for our students. Stephanie Hawk will carry that legacy forward and bring her own strengths as a compassionate and committed leader dedicated to helping fulfill our mission for our students and families."
On June 10, 2021, during a joint Baccalaureate Mass and Graduation Ceremony in the OLL Parish Church, we conferred diplomas on the 28 members of our Class of 2021. Congratulations to our newest "Lakers for Life" alumni! They represent the best of our mission to graduate students seeking to make the world a better place through living out their faith and caring for others.
