Preschool - 5th Grade Guidelines

Physical Education is an essential part of developing the whole child. In order to teach our children how to lead a healthy life we must educate them at a young age so they understand the importance of this concept and develop a lifestyle not only of fitness but positive self esteem as well. Studies have shown that people who are healthy feel good about who they are and therefore tend to be more successful through out life.

Students in PE class here at OLL will acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to maintain an active life through a variety of activities using movement, physical fitness, cooperation and sportsmanship.

The following are behaviors necessary for success in PE class and form the basis for your child’s grade at the end of each
trimester:
  • Follow directions and class rules
  • Participate to the best of your ability
  • Exhibit good sportsmanship at all times
