We offer a comprehensive academic program for students in grades preschool through 8th grade. Our Lady of the Lake responds to the developmental needs of children through instruction that is rigorous, relevant and directly related to national and state standards. Our curricular program and instructional approach is rooted in best practices and assessed using a variety of tools, including:

  • Measure of Academic Progress (MAP): Grades 2-8

  • Acadience Reading (formerly called Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills - DIBELS): Grades K-5

  • As well as other standards-based assessments in writing, spelling, and math

Teachers use this data to develop their classroom programs to ensure the high growth of all students.

Over the last several years, we have committed ourselves to implementing new math and writing curricula across all grade levels. Our students are well-prepared as they head off to local high schools, which include: Bishop Blanchet, Seattle Preparatory School, Holy Names Academy, O'Dea, Roosevelt and Nathan Hale.
