“I like that OLL is our parish school. We can walk to both class and church, and it provides the targeted support our children need.”

OLL School Library

School LibraryThe focus of OLL's library is to make children feel welcome and at home by providing a place where they can enjoy reading and learning.  The library collection contains approximately 7000 books, with more than half of them non-fiction.

The library was completely updated over the past couple of years, with over 1000 new books added, mostly non-fiction titles for primary grades.

Typical uses of the library:
  • Primary grades:  introduce students to reading, help them feel comfortable finding books which interest them, and class story times to introduce them to different types of literature
  • 3rd-5th grade:  develop research and technology skills
  • Middle school:  reading, research and study time
The library has an interactive whiteboard, plus laptop computers and iPads.
