“OLL's many multi-generational families and cherished traditions help sustain its community-oriented culture.”
Caryn Jorgensen, parent/alum

Our Lady of the Lake School depends on the generosity for our parish, families and the community. There are a variety of ways that you can support us. Your time, treasures and talents are invaluable to us here at Our Lady of the Lake and we thank you for taking the time to support the school.

There are three significant sources of support that the school has. The first is the parish subsidy. This subsidy is given freely by the parishioners of Our Lady of the Lake Parish and comes directly from Sacrificial Giving. The subsidy is the single largest expense of the parish and its gift to the school is meant to keep Catholic Education affordable and accessible to all. The parish contributes $120,000 to the school budget through the subsidy.

The second source is the school’s yearly Annual Appeal sponsored by the OLL Development Committee. This Appeal solicits support from current and former families, alumni, parishioners and corporations. The Appeal supports the school in two specific ways; tuition assistant and support of the general operating budget. Each year, the Appeal provides the school with $75,000 to use in those two areas.

Lastly, OLL has a yearly auction that provides $100,000 in support to the school. The Auction is a spring event and is made possible by the donations of our school families and local businesses. An auction committee is formed each fall to plan for and carry out this event.

The subsidy, Annual Appeal and auction constitute 25% of the operating budget of the school. Our work with and for children is made possible by the generosity of this school and parish community.
