Capital Campaign

Dear members of the OLL community,

Building Our Laker Legacy is the theme chosen to represent Our Lady of the Lake's Capital Campaign. Without doubt, this is a community with much to be thankful for. Since 1929, when this parish was founded, Our Lady of the Lake has been about people. We are very proud of being inter-generational. For years, family after family has gathered around this church and school to worship, learn, celebrate and play.    And now, more than eight decades later, we are poised to build something for the next generation.

More than a decade ago, the parish community went through a master planning process (2000 and Beyond) for the school and parish facility. That plan resulted in the building of Jubilee Hall and mentioned within that plan was a desire by the community for a renovated gym and kitchen. Now, with a growing parish community we are excited with the prospects of building something that would meet the needs of both our parish and school. In 2011, members of our parish explored the feasibility of such a project and, after months of prayerful discernment, we are convinced that now is the time.

Building Our Lake Legacy captures the very essence of what this community is all about: people. Together with your support and generosity, we can continue to make this parish and school the center of our faith life. We are deeply grateful for your ongoing love and support for Our Lady of the Lake.  Thank you for the gifts of your time, talents and treasure.
