Development
The mission of the Development Committee is to conduct both fundraising and other activities which support the ministries of Our Lady of the Lake Parish and School. Fundraising efforts may vary from year to year depending on the needs of our community; however the principal focus has been in the following areas:
- Capital Facilities Fund: Build reserves for future capital improvements and/or repairs to the physical structure of our Church and School.
- Growing the Educational Endowment Fund: This fund, with over $500,000 in assets provides investment income to offset the costs of operating the Parish School.
- Operating Reserves Fund: To comply with Archdiocesan requirements, we need to build our operating reserves.
- School Support: OLL School is a Parish School and needs and deserves the Parish’s financial support, which allows the school to provide the best Catholic education with an affordable tuition structure for our in-parish families.
Additionally, the Development Committee publishes a newsletter, ad Multos Annos and hosts an annual dinner for the Distinguished Graduate of Our Lady of the Lake Parish School.
