OUR LADY OF THE LAKE SCHOOL
5 YEAR STRATEGIC PLAN (Fall 2008- June 2013)

Dear OLL community,
After 18 months of work, I would like to present to you Our Lady of the Lake Strategic Plan for 2008-2013. This plan is the culmination of many conversations, feedback opportunities, and planning sessions. You may recall that in November of 2007, the school and parish community gathered to reflect on four themes:
- Faith
- Finance
- Facility and
- Curriculum
The School Commission and its Strategic Planning Subcommittee helped usher this process along and it is with deep gratitude that I thank them for their efforts, as this was no easy task. These people include:
- Pamela Runciman
- Chris Sams
- Bruce Gillespie
- Bill Clumpner
- Larry Doll
- OLL Teachers and
- the full Parents Club and School Commission
The next step involves you, the school and parish communities. As we prepare for the State of the School presentations in February, please take sometime to review the Strategic Plan and ask yourself these questions:
- Do you understand what this plan is trying to accomplish?
- Are the actions to be taken clearly articulated?
- Do the actions address the crucial to do items for the school?
- Is there something else that should be included in this plan?
Please provide feedback to me by February 12, 2009.
With this plan, we are well poised to position the school for success over the next five years. By focusing on these four areas, we ensure that every aspect of the students’ experience at Our Lady of the Lake is addressed and planned for. Some areas, like students diversity, school families, tuition assistance, and school traditions to name a few, are areas we believe the school does well with and are not mentioned in this plan. Furthermore, the school has already embarked on some of the action items outlined in the plan. We believe that the work done implementing these action items will help continue our mission of exciting students’ minds and nourishing their schools.
